Gene Bilbrew and Bill Ward illustrated a number of magazine-format stories and paperback novels for Hilbarth in the early 1970s.
- The magazines contained alternating pages of text and illustrations. They were later rebound in groups of three as "Bondage Trios". Of the seven Bondage Trios, only the first two included the color covers and all the illustrations from the original magazines.
- The books were published under the Tortura Press imprint and contained 10 illustrations each, one of which was reproduced on the cover.
