Chain of knots

To delay the release process, the bound person must untie dozens of knots to eventually obtain release. I did this once where I was tied spreadeagle to the bed with leather cuffs and chain/lock combo. Replacing the chain and lock on one arm was a 20 foot length of rope, I tied it to the bed and cuff with simple overhand knots, using the full length of rope. Undoing all those knots single handed took longer than I ever imgined.
